Abstract :
This paper makes an attempt to implement the complicated and professional model for engineering management via IS. The potential of multifunction IS with complicated mathematical models is studied via developing IS of engineering management in China. No matter how complex the system module or model is, the system can provide friendly interface and easy treatment method, and make the user obtain the optimal decision scheme. IS is also capable to satisfy both the professional and non-professional users. Last but not least, the approach in this study could be a reference for other projects in the similar field.
