Abstract :
This paper presents the modeling of a PV-wind hybrid system in Matlab/Simulink. The model is useful for simulation of a hybrid PV-wind system connected to a grid. Blocks like wind model, PV model, energy conversion and load are implemented and the results of simulation are also presented. The behavior of hybrid system employing renewable and variable in time energy sources while providing a continuous supply. Application represents a useful tool in research activity and also in teaching.
