  • Abstract
As the High-Speed Railways and Lines for Passenger Transportation are developing rapidly around the world as well as in China, the co-use of EGSM and GSM-R network is crucial, and the interference between China Mobile Communications Corporation (CMCC) GSM system and GSM-R (GSM for Railway) system is intensified. Thus the security and reliability problem of GSM-R system becomes more and more serious. This article illustrates five main steps to solve the interferences between GSM and GSM-R network with cooperation of the CMCC and the State Radio Regulatory Commission (SRRC). These five steps are: interferences location, data analysis, fixed-point interference test, interference clearance and electro-magnetic environment retest. The discussion followed aims at providing a standardized reference to the future GSM-R network optimization.
