Abstract
Intrusion is always a main problem and of great concern for sensor networks. There are number of intrusion detection and prevention methods to deal with different types of attacks. This paper presents an intrusion-preventive alternate path routing scheme in the field of sensor area networks. Our alternate path scheme provides a security oriented approach for designing the routing protocol of wireless sensor networks. It proposes the new cluster based security architecture which starts from the initialization of the network. In this paper, we propose a security algorithm to improve routing security in wireless sensor network. The algorithm uses alternative routing paths for each data transmission call to overcome the sensor network attack. To enhance network reliability, the algorithm allows sensory data to be sent on defined routing paths using various transmission modes.
