Abstract :
Communication is the field of rapid development from the recent past. The system that best utilize the novel performance qualities when combined comes with a tradeoff that must be subjugated to have an enhanced performance. This work mainly considers the integration of the bandwidth efficient M-ary QAM, Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) system and the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). The factor that motivates to integrate these techniques is the orthogonality of the subcarriers and the diversity of the MIMO systems. This work shows the performance graph for various MIMO-OFDM systems which are applicable for the present day technologies including 4G. But the detrimental aspect that needs to be considered while incorporating the techniques introduces a factor of issue that is Peak to Average Power Ratio. Generally this is analyzed using the Cumulative Distributive Function (CDF). The compensation when provided for this system to cut down the high PAPR will produce a proficient result. Hence a technique called Partial Transmit Sequence (PTS) is adopted for this work.
