Abstract :
The author propose an efficient interference rejection filter structure for direct-sequence spread-spectrum systems. Unlike the existing structures, the proposed adaptive filter performs interference rejection and pseudorandom sequence correlation simultaneously. The number of arithmetic operations required to implement the structure is reduced significantly as compared to existing algorithms. Compared with the performance of the system proposed by Li and Milstein (1982) the proposed system yields improved mean-square error (MSE), especially in the high range of the signal-to-Gaussian noise ratio
