Abstract :
The paper is concerned with a global optimization method using multi trajectory inertial system in which more than three searching trajectories run simultaneously from their individual initial points with mutual interactions of linear springs. The proposed model generates chaotic trajectories that result in an effectiveness for global optimization, because the so called chaotic wandering contributes to searching global optima. The usefulness of the model is demonstrated by simulation studies for various problems
