Abstract :
The present three-dimensional measurement methods with laser need many devices and are complicated to realize. A new three-dimensional measurement method Based on laser ranging was presented, and it is simple and easy to realize. The factors of influencing precision were analyzed and solved respectively. To the key factor among them: the position relationship between the luminous point of laser ranger and the intersection of the loading plane and vertical rotation axis of PTZ, the computation method was given. It overcome the measurement error caused by the misalignment of the luminous point of laser ranger and the intersection of the loading plane and vertical rotation axis of PTZ, and laser beam and laser´s central axis. By solving the factors of influencing accuracy, the precision of three-dimensional measurement system Based on laser ranging is improved efficiently. The reduced errors of three-dimensional coordinates were given.
