Abstract
In order to best comply with the multiple requirements of clean air, clean water, and waste minimization, Rayovac´s smallest plant has completely reengineered its anode chemical process. Solutions were needed where many other attempts had failed. One solution was found to all of the problems: eliminating the wastewater entirely and recycling the metal content internally. The project paid for itself in six months time
