Abstract :
Experimental measurement and theory study on the composite electromagnetic scattering from a combinative object above a one-dimensional sea surface is disscussed in this paper. The experimental part uses hydraulic technology of a shaking plate to simulate the open ocean for 1 to 3 sea state and the measurement was carried out by full-scale method in the simlant pool. The characteristics of electromagnetic scattering from one-dimensional sea surface are investigated based on the Kirchhoff Approximation(KA). The scattered field from the conducting target is evaluated by the method of higher equivalent edge currents (MEC). And the reciprocity theorem is applied to solve the coupling scattered field between sea and the target. Besides, the three methods are combined to numerically calculate the composite scattered field between the conducting combinative target and the oceanic surface. The results are in good agreement with the experimental results, which proves the validity of the theory primely. What is the most significative is the metrical system is of great help for us to verify wheather the numerical results obtained are right or not in the next work.
