Abstract
The ability of engineering firms to produce error free designs that fully meet client expectations is a key requirement for a successful project. Three-dimensional (3D) CAD modeling is a powerful tool that is helping engineers and designers achieve that goal. This paper discusses CAD modeling in the context of electrical design and some of the advantages that may be realized by using this tool.
