Abstract :
This paper proposes a design of integrated Fabry-Pérot Cavity (FPC) antenna with high efficiency. The efficiency of the proposed antenna can be enhanced by optimizing the aspect ratio of partially reflective sheet (PRS) of the antenna. The simulation and measurement show that the optimized design operating at 10GHz is capable to achieving the radiation efficiency up to 79% higher than usually 40% of a conventional square design (with the same thickness and aperture). The relationship between the dimensions (electric size and aspect ratio) of antenna and efficiency is also presented.
