Abstract :
In this paper, a novel method is proposed for the image acquisition and camera control of machine vision camera Based on Lab VIEW. In this method external DLL is called by CLF Node which is a function in Lab VIEW. This method permits the rapid application development and has the advantage of flexibility in the case of changes, while it can be extended efficiently for industry measurement and automation. Experiments are conducted in a machine vision camera which is designed and manufactured by our group. Results indicate that this method has a better performance and support in camera attributes compare to the commonly used NI-IMAQdx approach.
