Abstract :
A novel miniature inverted-F antenna for 2.4/5GHz dual-band WLAN applications in a tablet computer is presented. This antenna is composed of three radiating strips and a shorting strip, which occupies an area of 13(L)×6(W)mm2 to be mounted along the side edge of the panel. Good performance for the WLAN applications has been obtained.
