Abstract :
The shooting and bouncing ray (SBR) technique is combined with the physical optics (PO) to predict the electromagnetic scattering of large-scale coated perfectly electrically conducting (PEC) objects. The SBR technique describes the multi-reflection of electromagnetic rays on the object, and PO gives the total scattered fields due to the induced electromagnetic currents. Numerical results show the good efficiency and accuracy of the SBR-PO method.
