Abstract :
The possibilities to realize the dual frequency operation with different helical antenna configurations have been studied. The simulations and measurements showed that two frequencies of operation could be obtained by combining two helical antennas or by combining the helical antenna with the monopole antenna. This kind of antenna configuration could be used e.g. with dual mode cellular phones operating at two different frequencies
