Abstract :
A model of an interconnection-free computing system using biodevices is presented. The fundamental concept is the interconnection-free logic operation based on parallel distribution of logical information represented by varieties of molecules, and parallel selection using specificity of enzymes. The impact of interconnection-free computing on highly parallel processing architectures is analyzed through the design of parallel sorting networks
