Abstract :
This paper presents a new FM detector that combines the advantages of an injection locked FM discriminator and those of a Teager Energy Operator FM demodulator. It also presents the deleterious effect of signal propagation delay and its remedial measure. Simulation results gives encouraging results regarding improvement of the signal handling capacity and stability of the system affected by the inherent signal delay in the oscillator.
