Abstract :
This article presents a model the analysis of the propagation channel mobile communications in urban streets at the millimetrewave band. A ray-tracing tool, based on geometrical optics, is used to calculate the impulse response at the mobile, when it moves along the street; the scenario is defined by the ground and walls surfaces, and may have obstructing objects within it. A comparison of the statistical distributions of the usual impulse response parameters resulting from the simulations with measured ones shows a good agreement. Further simulations show that the dimensions of the street and the roughness of its walls, the existence of trees, and others factors, influence the average impulse response
