China is a mutton-producing country, but according to the international market percentage and the revealed comparison superiority index reckoning, China actually is a small exporting country. Whether it is based on quantitative analysis of the gravity model or the qualitative analysis, we discovered that our country´s mutton export competitiveness is very low. To enhance the export competitiveness of mutton, we must adjust the mutton export target market and product structure, improve the quality of mutton products.
