Female crimes in China are showing an upward trend and demonstrating some new features as well. There are both objective and subjective reasons for this phenomenon, primarily because of the social negligence of women´s survival, development and economic rights, and women´s own ignorance and disregard of their own rights. In the article, the characteristics and causes are analyzed first and then appropriate strategies are proposed with the purpose to prevent and reduce female crimes.
