  • Abstract
    Research of three-dimensional CNC milling machine tool path simulation module based on OpenGL using QT programming tools is introduced in detail. The data explained by the NC interpolation module is stored in the linked-list by ordered format and then the list is used for graphics in the simulation module. The OpenGL graphics steps, the stored format of the linked-list data, as well as the method on how to use the data for drawings, to realize the control of drawings for facilitating observation, and to use the line for realizing the simulation of the cutting tool path and so on are also explained. The process of simulation can be visualized in real time. The result can be translated, zoomed, rotated and observed in multi-aspect and multi-angle.
