Abstract :
This paper presents a design and implementation method for a high speed scrambling system which encrypts MPEG-2 transport stream (TS) data using DVB-common scrambling algorithm. The presented design´s scrambling system has a parallel processing structure based on one MPEG-2 TS packet data block for high speed scrambling. As its structure is extendable for a required transmission rate, it is expected to be used effectively for the future broadcasting system requiring higher transmission rate
