Abstract :
A new compact half U-slot loaded RMSA is proposed, which gives 50% reduction in the area as compared to the conventional RMSA with slightly reduced bandwidth and increased substrate thickness. For both the MSAs, good agreement between the experimental and theoretical results is observed.
