Abstract
Electromagnetic field distribution has been analysed using three dimension finite element method to study the response of the needle type Giant Magneto Resistive (GMR) sensor in presence of magnetic fluid. The current research mainly involves with the development of a high performance GMR sensor which will be used for the measurement of magnetic flux density inside a magnetic substance having a very low value of relative magnetic permeability. The needle type GMR sensor has been developed for use of hyperthermia based cancer treatment.
