Abstract :
A new broadband printed planar circular polarized antenna array is introduced. The special features of the antenna array are: a) very large axial ratio (AR) bandwidth of 20% for AR better than 3 dB, b) high gain capability c) possibility to manufacture antenna at low cost (tolerance insensitive) even at microwave and mm-wave range. The proposed concept is verified at 15 GHz and 60 GHz, showing a very good performance. Application of the proposed antenna concept may be for commercial low cost indoor and outdoor applications.
