  • Abstract
OFDM signals exhibit a high peak-to-average power ratio which will generate nonlinear distortion and consequently will decrease the high power amplifier efficiency. Therefore, predistortion technics are suitable for linearizing nonlinear power amplifiers comportment when such complex signals are used. This paper presents a digital predistortion approach for the power amplifier linearization when Volterra series are used for dynamic nonlinear modeling of the power amplifier behavior. An implementation of the digital nonlinear predistorter system based on digital filters is proposed.
