Abstract :
This paper specifies the deployment of IPv6 multihoming for next generation networks. IPv6 multihoming is developed for network aspect but IPv6 multihoming can be used for a host in NGN also. In this paper, we describes the features of IPv6 multihoming and requirements for the use of IPv6 multihoming in NGN environments. This paper also provides applications scenarios of IPv6 multihoming for NGN so as to facilitate the advanced applications and services in the IPv6 based NGN networks
