Abstract :
A 30 GHz coplanar two pole filter is presented and consists of two quarter wavelength resonators. It has an original excitation structure based on magnetic coupling. To validate this approach a 2 pole, 10 percent relative bandwidth filter has been fabricated on fused silica. Low loss and good agreement between simulation and measurements have been achieved.
