Abstract :
We present HalfToner, an educational tool for comparing the result of applying halftoning algorithms to gray scale images. This tool allows a visual comparison of techniques and the effect their parameters have on the result. It offers a simple and intuitive interface for the exploration, with comprehensive textual information. Halftoner can be used from any Java compatible Web browser, since it was implemented as a Java Applet
