Abstract :
OFDM can maintain good performance even in frequency selective fading environments, but the transmission characteristics of high-speed mobile communication systems are considerably degraded due to the channel time-variation caused by the Doppler effect. Lowering the velocity of the receiving antenna relative to the ground reduces this degradation. In this paper, in order to lower the speed of the antenna relative to the ground, we propose to use a rotating concyclic antenna. We confirm that time-variation of the channel is compensated by this method without pilot symbols. Simulation results show that the BER(bit error radio) can be improved by using this antenna.
