Abstract :
The method of microwave circuit parameters measurement using the multiprobe transmission line reflectometer (MTLR) is well-known. Measurement process consists in analysis of electromagnetic field distribution inside the line that depends on parameters of an attached load under test (magnitude and phase of reflection coefficient) and absolute value of the MTL incident complex amplitude. Thus, three probes are enough to obtain the system of nodinear equations for unknown parameters. Additional probes are usually used to enlarge the measurement frequency range.
