Abstract :
The transmission characteristics of several periodic guiding structures are analyzed in this paper, with a method in which the rigorous mode matching method is combined with the multimode network theory. The periodic structures include a periodic image waveguide filter and an NRD (nonradiative) dielectric filter with varying period. Experimental data verify the precision and effectiveness of the present method.
