Abstract
A hardware and software solution allowing, in a given experimental environment, defect detection during textile manufacture is defined. The method is based on detecting breaks in the periodicity of the fabric´s pattern. If the periodic characteristic of the material is deleted by filtering, the defect is detected more easily
