Abstract
Ad hoc routing protocols have been designed to be more and more efficient without keeping security in mind. This makes them vulnerable to a variety of attacks which affect the reliability of data transmission. We propose in this paper a new a secure protocol based on the hash chains to provide a high level of security. The proposed protocol is analyzed using the NS-2 simulator.
