Abstract :
The aim of the Desktop-projector project is to create a software tool (application) for more effective teaching in computer classrooms, especially in cases, where classic projector can´t be used. The Desktop-projector is typically used for showing presentations or other activities carried out on the teacher´s desktop in other desktops. The teacher´s desktop is broadcasted to other computers on the local area network. The article describes the basic principles of the solution and the problems encountered during the development. It was concluded that the UDP datagram loss is not affected at the network layer or at the operating system, but at an application level.
