Abstract :
A simulation based design procedure for supply modulated amplifiers is presented. With the developed design-guide optimum transistor operation under supply modulation can be simulated with arbitrary modulation voltage functions at varying impedance conditions. Alternative supply voltage functions have been investigated for fixed impedance conditions and for an implemented class-F design.
