Abstract
We developed low profile, differentially fed antennas that operate at 77 GHz. A rectangular and a circular loop antenna were designed and fabricated. The antennas are fed with conductor backed coplanar stripline (CPS). Therefore, common mode and differential mode signal are excitable. The design target is the usage of the differential mode signal and the suppression of the common mode signal. The measured decoupling between the two modes is about 30 dB. The simulation and the measurement results are in a good agreement.
