Abstract :
This paper investigates power control to regulate both inputs of dual-input DC/AC inverter independently. The dual-input DC/AC inverter topologies can be either neutral point clamp (NPC) or T-type three-level inverter. A mathematical model is established to derive the relationship between the dual-input power and the duty cycle of the DC/AC inverter. Then a control scheme is proposed to decouple the control of the dual inputs of the DC/AC inverter. The design of power control loops further is described. The control scheme is verified on a 125kW three-level DC/AC inverter.
