Abstract :
This paper deals with algorithms for the design of multi-beam radars having an array antenna segmented in sub-arrays. A genetic algorithm for the selection of sub-arrays is introduced. Techniques for the choice of the weighting, both in the analogue and digital parts of the antenna receiving channels, are proposed.
