Abstract :
This paper proposes an analytical fault-tolerant method for cascaded H-bridge converters. In this case, this method has been implemented for a cascaded H-bridge converter with six cells per phase that is used in a medium voltage drive. The proposed method has been tested in a Simulink model of the thirteen-level cascaded H-bridge converter.
