Abstract :
With the development of processor technology and software technology, embedded system becomes more functional, and with software complexity increasing, which makes it a need to use operating system to make management. Using the operating system in DSP system, time performance, fault tolerance, kernel size and other factors must be taken into consideration. By modifying board support package, OSEck system successfully runs on ADSP_TS201 board, and a performance evaluation is made and then analyzes the advantages of real-time operating system on DSPs. A outlook is also made about embedded operating system development.
