Abstract
In this paper we present a doubly curved conformal leaky waveguide antenna structure for sensor applications. In addition, we show how to excite the TE10 mode with a simple coaxial probe arrangement in such a way that no loss of bandwidth results when compared to the classical (bulky) tapered waveguide method of feeding. The resulting structure operates at K band (24 GHz to 30 GHz) has l2dBi gain and 4GHz useable bandwidth, for VSWR of 2.
