Abstract :
A series parallel-loaded resonant inverter (SPLRI) providing complementary AC high-voltage sinusoidal waves for driving group multiple EEFLs (multi-EEFLs) is proposed. The balance of the AC wall discharge inversion process in multi-EEFLs is achieved with the likely AC drives so as to enhance luminous output. An experimental to design approach is conducted to find the dynamic parameters of the multi-EEFL for matching the characteristics of the SPLRI and stabilizing the lamp current of EEFL even in dimming. A lighting template of group-paralleled EEFLs is employed in the test setup, whose experiment shows high power efficiency up to 90% and high luminous output of 25 kcd/m2 at output power of 220W.
