Abstract :
A spiral embedded between a printed dielectric substrate and a superstrate radome is designed for optimal axial ratio, which together with reasonable gain is exhibited over a wide bandwidth. The design uses a statistically based marginal distribution optimisation technique driving an efficient curved segment moment method code.
