Abstract
The Non-Contiguous Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (NC-OFDM) is a promising transmission scheme in Cognitive Radio (CR) system. In this article, we introduce a new channel estimation method based on Compressive Sensing (CS). Simulations show that when the number of pilots is equal, CS-based channel estimation can have a better performance compared with traditional Least Squares (LS) method in terms of mean square error (MSE) as well as the bit error rate (BER).
