Abstract :
The accuracy of predicting a signal¿s jitter fiom its phase noise is investigated with experiments. It has been discovered, and demonstrated experimentally, that for a specified phase synchronization between transmitter and receiver local oscillators a significant reduction in recovered signal phase noise is possible in double side band radios.
