Abstract
The sensitivity of multicarrier (MC) transmission over a multipath channel, to the phase impairment is addressed. The degradation of the performance of the system with the BPSK and QPSK signaling due to the variance of phase error, carrier frequency offset, delay spread of the multipath channel as well as the number of carriers is investigated. The results can be used in the design and evaluation of realistic nonideal multicarrier systems for high speed communications over multipath mobile/indoor radio channels
