Abstract
An electrically small loop is used as a low profile counterpoise, strategically positioned on a vehicle to favour a particular modal vehicular current distribution and hence radiation pattern. Computed results using an original patch MoM code suggest an adaptive radiating system can be produced by switching between such loops.
