Abstract :
An improved pulsewidth modulated (PWM) control technique for three-phase active power filters is proposed which can control both the fundamental and the harmonic components in the AC current of the power electronic loads. A novel configuration of the current-fed filters to significantly reduce the filter capacity is described. Several theoretical characteristics of the current-fed filter are discussed
